Manager/Senior Analyst, Commercial Analysis 

Areas of responsibility

1. Provide market insights on short/medium/long-term development in various ISO and regulated power markets in the US (market design, offtake opportunitis, REC market, capacity market, etc.)
2. Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) risk assessment and pricing modelling
3. Manage market research to assess opportunities in renewables markets and identify where RWE Renewables Americas should focus its business development activities
4. Develop and run models to perform quantitative analysis. Visualize and communicate key insights
5. Coordinate and collaborate with Transmission, Fundamental Analysis, Energy Marketing, Project Development, Policy, Partnering and other teams to analyze, develop and execute growth inititatives
6. Lead and manage assigned projects

 

Your profile

Solid understanding of power market design and fundamentals
Strong quantitative / modelling skills

Advanced degree required (preferably in electrical engineering, physics or other quantitative discipline)
Minimum 3 year experiences in one or more power markets in the US (CAISO, SPP, MISO, PJM, NYISO, etc.)

Depending on seniority level, the candidates will be hired as Senior Analyst or Manager
