Areas of responsibility

SCADA Networking Systems Engineer - Senior

1. Order, Configure, Deploy, and Maintain network assets in the Production IT environment
2. Perform the deployment, integration and configuration of security solutions and of enhancements to existing information/operational technology in accordance with standard best practice procedures and enterprise security policy
3. Monitor geographical remote networks and systems ensuring high availability of assets
4. Travel to sites to perform upgrades and necessary maintenance when needed
5. Assist site personnel with issues regarding SCADA communications 
6. Work closely with operations and other teams to reach the same goal more efficiently
7. Provide and manage systems for secure remote access into PIT environment
8. Participate in the design, execution and risk mitigation regarding vulnerability assessments, and security/regulatory audits
9. Participate in the creation of enterprise security documentation (policies, programs, standards, baselines, guidelines, procedures and metric/key performance reporting)
10. Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to existing solutions to improve overall enterprise security
11. Assist subject matter experts on compliance standards and application of associated requirements
12. Implement procedure documents to maintain and improve compliance
13. Working with baselines and testing on configuration for Change Management process
14. Monthly Security Event monitoring of configurations
15. Monitoring for Malicious code events and mitigating threats
16. Maintain, configure, update and patch networking devices 
17. Respond to Tier 2/3 network problem / incident support requests
18. Perform job duties similar to Network Engineer, IT Management and System Administration (Windows, Linux and VMware environments)


Your profile

Minimum three to five (3-5+) years’ work experience. B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree can substitute 3-5 years’ experience. College Degree and certifications preferred.

At least 3-5 years work experience in the following:
• Networking and Network Security and design.  
• Project manage large scale datacenters and multiple site asset upgrades
• Certification or advanced expertise in Cisco, Palo-Alto and other networking technologies
• Experience with configuring switches, firewalls, routers, VPN, SAN’s, NAS’s, PDU’s, UPS’s, KVM and various other products. 
• Knowledge and understanding of various compliance standards
